"White Dudes For Harris"

“White Dudes For Harris” How perfectly apropos coming from a bunch of self-aggrandizing liberals who can finally breathe after years of having to self-suffocate themselves on Joe Biden’s actual health. They’re like a bunch of giddy children who stuck in a classroom for hours are finally let out to play. It’s their natural stomping ground of identity politics.

Why call it “White Dudes” instead of “White Men?” Does it have a better ring to it? Make it sound more hip and cool? Or does using the word “dude” somewhat mask the true essence of such a statement? Saying “White Men For Harris” is just too damn obviously self-serving: “Look at me! I’m a white man supporting a black woman!” So they have to dress it down a little to make it seem like it’s about the cause rather than themselves.

Besides the statement's obvious virtue signalling, when you strip it down to its bare bones, it's pretty damn insulting. They can’t just say they are voting for Kamala Harris. They have to tell you they are white men as if it’s some kind of charity or something. Stating they are white men is an inextricable part of their support. It’s like a white dude bragging how he has black friends. They aren’t just friends. They are black friends. Black friends he allows into his home and even stay there while he runs to the liquor store. It’s incredibly demeaning.

What if those on the right started their own group: “White Men for Trump.” I would love to see the left’s reaction.
