Kamala's "Values Have Not Changed."

After finally allowing someone to interview her, what did Kamala Harris have to say about herself as the democrat nominee for president? She wants the American public to know that she is the same person she has always been or as she continuously put it: “My values have not changed.”
This was her default response to every single policy flip-flop she was questioned on. Couldn’t she have come up with something a little more clever and varied? She knew they’d be coming and let’s face it, this so-called “interview” was set up in the most conducive, controlled, commie style fashion: she chose the home turf of CNN, she chose to have it taped instead of live, and she chose to have “coach Walz” beside her who looked ridiculously like a parent only there to protect his child.
So what are these “values” that she adamantly stands behind?
She supported and encouraged the rioters during the Black Lives Matter/George Floyd protests to continue perpetrating acts of violence and destruction. As these rioters were burning down buildings, breaking into stores and looting them, throwing Molotov cocktails at police officers she said: “They are not going to stop. This is a movement. I’m telling you. They’re not going to stop. And everyone beware because they’re not gonna to stop. They’re not gonna let up and they should not.”
Not only did she encourage their actions, she also encouraged Americans to donate to the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) to bail out these very people: “Today, in solidarity with those protesting, I am asking for your help if you are able. Will you make a contribution to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, an organization working on the ground in Minnesota to post bail for arrested protestors.” Her public support helped boost MFF’s funds from just tens of thousands of dollars to over thirty-four million, which helped release multiple convicted murders and rapists she called “protestors.”
And while advocating to fund MFF, Harris also advocated to defund the police: “This whole movement is about rightly saying, we need to take a look at these budgets and figure out whether it reflects the right priorities.” She argued that too much of cities’ budget went to policing and the idea of public safety needs to be “reimagined”: “The status quo thinking that more police creates more safety is wrong. It’s wrong. And it has motivated too much of municipal budgets and thinking of policymakers.”
So in 2020 her logic was: encourage criminal behavior, help those convicted get back on the streets, and make it harder for police to do their job. Are these the values she wants us to know have not changed?
And what about the border? She called Trump’s border wall “un-American” and a “medieval vanity project.” She also stated in 2017 and 2019 respectively, “I’ve joined my colleagues to introduce a bill that would rescind Trump’s order to construct the border wall” and “I’m not gonna vote for a [border] wall under any circumstances.” What happened after she became Vice President and appointed border czar? Illegal border crossings hit record highs.
Why has Kamala Harris been so reluctant to do interviews and has yet to hold a press conference? The CNN interview was a good indicator. The more she talks, the more trouble she gets herself into. Even in such a softball setting, she wasn’t smart enough to realize she probably shouldn’t continuously say “My values have not changed.”
