A Special Veterans Day

This Veteran’s Day is a special one with the reelection of Donald Trump. Not every veteran is a fan of his, but I believe most veterans stand behind the key issues that got him elected, which in many respects are those they have put their lives on the line for.

One of these key issues is the unprecedented increase in illegal immigration of the past four  years. Veterans have risked their lives and many have died throughout our history to protect our country and the current mass influx of illegal immigration is a direct affront to this. Their service and their sacrifice are also to protect our way of life: to preserve the fundamental values and ideas that make America exceptional. And by flooding our nation with unvetted immigrants—besides the obvious security and resource concern—it destroys our culture and dilutes the very idea of who we are as Americans. This is not being anti-immigrant. We just need to be in charge of the process like a business owner deciding who to hire; who to become part of the team. The Biden/Harris administration allowing an open border for political gain while our military serve and have served to protect our country is borderline treasonous.

Make America Great Again is the embodiment of issues like this. It’s not a coalition of right-wing extremists, Nazis, racists, bigots, misogynists, or any other smear word the left can think of. It’s the idea of putting our country first again, which many Americans care about irrespective of their background. It’s about restoring the fundamental ideas and values that have made this country great. It’s what our veterans have put their lives on the line for.

Thank you to all our veterans.
